Billing & Refunds

Core is a subscription. It renews automatically every year at the then-current price (currently $99/year) and your payment method is charged on each renewal date until you cancel. You give your express consent to these renewal terms when you complete checkout, and your purchase confirmation email restates them. We send a renewal reminder email before each renewal. Cancel anytime online through the billing portal linked from your receipt and from your account — cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, you keep access until then, and canceling is as easy as signing up: no phone call required.

A single payment, no renewal. 14-day money-back guarantee: if it isn't what you needed, email support@caughtup.tax within 14 days of purchase and we refund in full, no questions asked. After 14 days the purchase is non-refundable.

Canceling Core stops future charges; we don't prorate the current year, except where a specific law provides otherwise (for example, certain New York price-increase situations) — in that case the law wins.

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries and emails you; continued failure downgrades the account to Free (your documents remain intact and exportable for at least 90 days). Prices exclude any applicable sales tax, which is calculated at checkout where required.

Before disputing a charge with your bank, email us — refund-eligible issues get resolved faster that way, usually within two business days.
